The course pre-requisites are that the delegates are involved in the college application and enrolment function. It would also be  advantageous (but not essential) that the delegate The aim of CAM Training is to provide the attendees with knowledge of how to operate CAM software to record student applications and Enrolments, build fees, maintain cash registers and take payment of fees.
 
 
The aim of the course is to implement the Softsync software on (at least) one client PC and also to provide the attendees with an understanding of the basic principles of the operation of the Softsync software.
 
 
The aim of the Curriculum Management Training Course is to provide the attendee with a knowledge of how  the curriculum can be structured to meet the requirements of the Institution.
 
 
The purpose of this session is to make all Curriculum Managers, Department Managers and Financial Managers aware of the features QLS offers in the way the Curriculum may be set. The day provides and understanding of the flexibility of modularisation—the information required within QLS; and fees—that each item of the Curriculum can be priced and allocated a nominal ledger code regardless of whether it is linked to the QLF system. The method of setting of fees must be understood.
 
 
The aim of the Curriculum Planning Module training is to provide the attendants with knowledge of how to use it to generate a detailed and summary income and expenditure model for the coming academic year’s curriculum, together with enrolment, retention and achievement targets, as well as with associated learner profiles.

The aim of the Definitions & Resources Management Training Course is to provide the attendee with the abilityto set up the framework for the QL Students system.
 

The aim of the course is to introduce the delegates to the first part of the Student Admissions cycle. An admission strategy is of prime importance to a College and should have been discussed fully before any training on admissions is undertaken.
 
   
The aim of the Enrolment training course is to provide the attendees with a knowledge of how to use the QL students system to record details of enrolments and produce letters and lists.
 
 
The aim of the course is to introduce the delegates to the achievement module within QLS. An Examination strategy is of prime importance to a College and should have been discussed fully before any training on Exams is undertaken.
 
 
To review the concept of Examinations in QLS, with some practical refresher training in the use of the module.
 
 
The attendee should previously have attended the QLS Desktop Navigation Training course and should have a basic.  The course is intended for English colleges only and covers many aspects of the FEFC Inspectorate Spreadsheet and Funding Methodology facilities provided by QL Students.
 
 
Aims is to cover a number of measures that can significantly reduce the data capture required to produce an ISR at the beginning of the academic year, together with an overview of ISR changes for 1999/2000 and how QL Students will deal with
them.
 

The course aim is to introduce the delegates to the Information Centre module in conjunction with the Document Control procedure within QLS.
 
 
A number of new reports have been developed covering QLS curriculum, enrolments, ISR and fee taking. These will be presented, together with an overview of document production and external reporting from QLS.
 
 
To provide Consultancy on the linking of QLS to Laminex.
 

The aim of the Placement module training is to provide the attendants with knowledge of how to use it to record and track students that are on any type of placement, such as Work Experience or Work Based Learning. The module is used to add placement details to student records that already exist in QLS. The module is also used for the maintenance of placement providers, i.e. organisations that provide placements for students.

The aim of the course is to introduce the delegates to the registers system and how it fits in with the curriculum set-up. The design of the register Id’s and grouping is important to gain full potential from the register module.
 
 
The aim of this course is to introduce the new functionality of the student/financial integration, as well as covering the current functionality contained within the software.
 
 
QLS V4
 
 
The aim of the QL V4 ILR Workbench training is to provide the attendants with knowledge of how to use the QL V4 ILR Workbench to produce valid and correct ILR returns.
 
 
The aim of the QL V4 Securities Management training is to provide the attendants with knowledge of how to use the QL V4 Securities Management to setup different access rights to V4 forms for different QL workgroups and users. Different workgroups and users can also be organised into Roles; a new concept that is introduced in the QL V4 Securities Management module and is further explained in the training.
 
 
The aim of the QL V4 System Module training is to provide the attendants with knowledge of how to customise and maintain the institution’s V4 environment. The main part of the training involves the setting up of different V4 menu structures for different workgroups and users.
 
The aim of the QL V4 Familiarisation is to introduce the attendants to the general design and functionality of QL V4.
